Jennifer Dathan is a Postgraduate Researcher at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, UK, where they are focused on the resilience potential of heritage in the face of climate change, conflict and migration. Specifically, they are examining the role of heritage and resilience in adapting to change and new environments, working with those displaced by the conflict in Syria.

They were formerly a researcher at Action on Armed Violence, where their research examined the consequences of conflict in various contexts, including the impacts on mental health and wellbeing, culture and heritage, and the environment.
