Laura Pernice (1988) is PhD in Disciplines of Performing Arts at the Department of Humanities (DISUM), University of Catania. From 2015 she is member of the editorial staff of «Arabeschi. Rivista internazionale di studi su letteratura e visualità». She studies contemporary theatre according to interdisciplinary research perspectives, that combining Performing Studies, cinema and visual culture. She has published the book Motus. La vertigine multimediale (Villaggio Maori, 2016) and, most recently, the volume Giovanni Testori sulla scena contemporanea. Produzioni, regie, interviste (1993-2020) (Edizioni di Pagina, 2021). In addition, several of her articles on contemporary directors and actors (Federico Tiezzi and Sandro Lombardi, Roberto Latini, Fanny & Alexander, Motus, Teatro delle Albe) have been published in collective volumes and on-line academic journals, including «Arabeschi», «Sciami | Ricerche» and «Between».
