Anna Puhr

Anna Puhr has a Master of Arts in Cultural Studies, a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Romance Studies. Being familiar with cultural policy as well as security policy on an international level, she found a way to combine these contrary fields by researching and working on cultural heritage protection in conflict zones and crises situations.

In 2020, she spent two months with the Lebanese NGO BILADI researching on cultural heritage protection during a revolution and after the Beirut port explosion. From 2017-2019, she worked as a policy advisor at the Austrian Mission to NATO in Brussels where she acted as contact point for Cultural Property Protection. Before, she has gained professional experience at the Austrian Cultural Forum in Brussels and at the United Nations Information Service in Vienna.
