Martina Tullio is a PhD Student in Education, Cultural Heritage and Territories at University of Macerata, Italy, with a scholarship co-funded by the UNESCO Office of the Ministry of Culture, Italy. She graduated in Modern Languages for International Communication at Roma Tre University, Italy, where she studied Chinese and English languages. She spent two periods of study in China, one at Beijing Language and Culture University and the other at Tianjin Nankai University. She also holds a Master Diploma in Global Management for China (University of Macerata, Italy). Her research interests focus on the UNESCO World Heritage Convention, community engagement, and cultural diplomacy.
